Maria joined the team in March 2023 as Membership Manager. Born in Kenya, she has spent her life between Nairobi and London and became an avid traveller early on. Maria developed a passion for fitness in her late teens, which later led to her qualifying as a personal trainer and spending a year in Thailand training Muay Thai. Over the past twenty years, she has worked in the luxury hospitality and leisure and fitness sector in London and East Africa, including roles as a personal trainer at Virgin Active and more recently in sales and membership roles at Gym Box.
In her own words, Maria’s passion for fitness has supported her personal growth and know-how in health, mental wellbeing and, most importantly, motherhood.
