Simone is a former Fitness Manager at The Lanesborough Club & Spa who oversaw our team of Personal Trainers and instructors. Her approach to fitness goes beyond movement and exercise, as she has trained as a wellness coach and provides mentoring as well as personal training programmes.
What is your workout routine/schedule?
For me I am intuitive to how my body feels, so I move every day but I don’t close off what that needs to look like. One day it may be completely functional and the next high intensity training with a yoga flow at the end.
What’s the best way to keep your clients inspired to work hard?
To uncover what their WHY is. This is so important as it becomes more than just moving; it shows clients that what they do with me at The Lanesborough will effect and enable all other areas of their life.
What do you think about foodie fads – paleo, raw, vegan?
I believe each individual can respond differently to each way of eating. Therefore for me it’s understanding your own body and feeling what feels right for you.
How do you stay on track when you travel?
I always take my TRX, sliders and mini band.
What do you normally order when you are out for dinner?
Sushi and Thai food are my go too for dinner along with some delicious Persian food.
